Smile I crashed a Maxima meet.....

I headed over to Circuit City last night and the had a mini Maxima meet going on. When i finished up in CC i drove over to where they were hanging out. I really expected them to be d!cks but they were real cool. I chatted with them for about 15 mins and then left. They had some nice rides, but all i heard them say was "damn i love your lights" (HID's) They complimented me on my TL (I just waxed it 2 days ago) which made me feel good.
I repped the TL well fellas

Cool

I am sure people who believes in modding their car also respect other ppl's rides. That's cool, I would love to crash into a maxima or IS300 meet... heehee!!

I did crash a maxima meet one time, and I was the spotlight of the meet. I don't think is a good Idea to crash a IS300 meet, they all think they own a BMW, little fukers.

Yeah most of their cars were modded too. Nothing too crazy just the usual stuff. These guys were cool. Im not sure about an IS300 meet, maybe if i was rollin' deep, ya know what i mean.

The more people with HIDs, the less likely the TLs will be targeted.

I really hope so for our sake.

Hey BlackShadow,

I would love to come to that meet, especially for the "cruisin'", but I am not going to be able to make it in September. The weekends are all filled (mostly wife-related stuff, you know).

If something breaks open, I may sneak down there.

Its nice to know that the maxima owners aren't pricks. Its cool that you were the spotlight of the meet. Mainly because you are the only one there with a different car so they have something different to look at.

It's nice to know that there is other good car club members around

I've meet a few members here in Boston and they are really cool. We talked about maybe having a combined car meet with all kind of imports. That sounds fun to see supras, tl, maximas, se-r, 300z, integra, accords, etc. But lots of Maxima is getting the HID conversion on their cars these days. The price is coming down and more people will have them. Like mentioned above 2002 Maximas will have HID standard equipment.

Exactly, I have HIDs in mine. The meet that you went to was a SI mini-meet, most of our meets are WAY bigger than that. TL is still a cool azz car to look at though.

Sooner or later, we gonna see Echo with HID... Just look at the % of HID equipped cars on the road in Japan...

Maxima drivers seem to be cooler, and I agree IS300 owners are a bit high-nosed compare to Maxima owners..... The usual words I heard from IS300 owners are.... "You think your over-weight 4DR can outrun my IS300??"...... Blah.....

yea.. for real, I think a lot of maxima people intend to get a TL or something .. like a lot of TL ppl some day intend to get a bmw .. I know I know .. some of us will say it's a big money waste but deep down inside, you all know you would've wanted a 50/50 balanced work of german engineering if not only to drive for a year and then give it up :P

at any rate, yea, I have a cousin who's like on the maxima forum and he seems to love my car his isn't bad either.. its fixed up pretty nicely without ricing heh .. heh .. I even teased him about it and he was like .. nooooo .. can't be ricing
