Humming/wind noise while driving

i have a problem. while i'm driving at about 30 mph, there seems to be a "humming" noise. as you get faster to 60ish - it's louder. but you go past 80 mph - the noise is gone. it seems to be coming from the tires or something (sounds like coming from the back.)

since i had a wheel hub replaced a while ago, i thought it might be that since the noise sounded familar. but i did the "test" that my mechanic taught me - where you zig-zag left and right to put more weight on the bad hub, the more noise there should be, and where there's less weight = less noise. but the noise was constant... so i'm guessing a bad wheel hub is out. what else could it be? it's like a "humming/wind" noise... i know it wasn't there before.. atleast i think..

Odd my TL is doing the same thing. It sounds like a hum? It's from my front wheels, and it just recently started. 36k miles on my 02 TL

oh, found a mistake. when i say hub, i mean bearing. "Wheel Bearing" - that was what was replaced awhile ago, and i tried to see if it's that.

this was fixed awhile ago. i'm only mentioning it b/c the sound sounds familiar to a bad wheel bearing.

wind noise near the door is normal, the humming noise i have now, is def. not normal. if you ride in my car, the first thing you will say is "man, what's wrong, what's that noise, why is it so loud?" everyone says that , that rides in my car. which is one of the reasons why it bothers me even more. the TL is a great car/ sweet ride. this noise makes it seem like a camery. (no offense - just contrasting the difference in class)
