thats easier to do on a type-s since its resonator is smaller. its far easier to take the bumper off on a TL-p to remove the resonator since its larger....either way, the bumper is easy enough to remove in the first place.

I have a TL-P and I removed the resonator without removing the bumper. It was definitely not worth it. Even without the splash guard OR the left fender liner, your gonna need small hands to get the socket in the right spot. I was lucky the bumper is pretty flexible.

I need to learn how to take off my front bumper just in case...or if I want to install fog lights.
Like you guys said, its easy, but I wanna see some pics on how to remove.
When I removed my resonator I just removed the splash guard and fender liner on my '99. It was a bitch to do took me like 30 minutes feeling around under there. After a year, I put the resonator back. (Wanted my car to be quieter).
