Question How to Remove Adhesive on Dash?

I just purchased a 2003 TL-S and love it except for one thing. The previous owner had an XM radio kit installed and it included a plastic bracket that was mounted to the dash, just to the lower right of the climate controls (non-NAVI). It seems that they used some sort of adhesive to mount the bracket. When I try to move or pull on the bracket, the dash flexes with it. Any ideas for safe removal of this bracket? There does seem to be about 1/16 of an inch gap between the bracket and the dash where i could possibly insert something like a sharpened putty knife to try to cut through the adhesive. Please let me know if you have any qood ideas.
Thanks.

that sounds like it has 3m adheasive tape under it. heating it with a hair dryer may make it more plyable and easier to remove. try taking dental floss and working that under it like a saw. that and use googone. it will come off
