I'm Going to a Junk yard with a buddy of mine, they have a 99 tl in there, we need to take the sideskirts but before we go I wanna make sure I have any tools I need...I know how to pop them off, they slide towards the front, there's like 4 or 5 clips..i just need to know if there's bolts/screws also ?? If so, what kind and what size ? Straight factory 1999 acura tl oem rocker panel's (side skirts lol) just trying to be specific lol! Thnks guys I appreciate it

No bolts just clips. Pop off clips then slide out skirts and youre good to go

Step 1: There are four clips on the bottom of each side. Undo those clips first. They can be screwed out, but you're probably just going to strip it. It is soft plastic, and your best bet is just to wedge a screwdriver under the clip, and pry it out.

Step 2: Slide it forward. This will require some muscle. Grab on to something (tire?) and pull straight forward as hard as you can. Maybe bring a mallet and something to dampen the blow. I ended up kicking it forward.

Step 3: Pull it off, after it has slid forward. It will come right off. Don't force it, or you will break all the clips (9 of them on each side). The clips should be still attached to the car. Rotate them 45 degrees and pull to get them out. You may not even need the clips, as you can just reuse the ones in your car.

Tools: Screwdriver, mallet, cloth.
