Just purchased a new 03 Satin Silver TL-P. What do you guys suggest the proper break-in methods are (if any)?

Thanks in advance,

Just try not to exceed 3k RPM and you should be fine.
Go nice and easy when accelerate and take corners.

This is what I did:

Do a lot of city miles for the first 1K. If you go on the highway don't exceed 55 mph til 1k. Slowly increase the speeds til about 65 to 1.5K. After that it should be pretty much broken in.

I changed the oil at 2k 4k 6k and changed to synthetic at 8k. Change the oil after break in to get all the little engine particals out.

Welcome and have fun...

also wish to add .. dont use the cruise control for 1k.
No panic stops -if possible....-
Choose a synthetic like Mobil1 or Royal Purple or Redline and a K&N oil filter.
