It all comes down to your deductible, where you live, your coverage.

I am paying $505/6 month. I am with Farmers, $500 deductible, clean record.

Do you mean you auto loan? I can't imagine the insurance for the TL-S is so expensive.

I only pay $870 for the year. That is full coverage including comprehensive and collision. I'm a 31 year old male with a good driving record.

First is a 99'TL, second I pay $351 of insurance. My auto loan is $647.00 a month. My monthly gas consumtion is about $120.00 a month. I just fix the car from a broken radiator cost me $2,700.00.

Total cost of the car a MONTH = $1117.00

Not including things like the radiator breaking ($2,700) to fix. Yes that much because the car overheated and had to replaced other parts.

$700/yr full coverage, 100/300k limits. As many of you may already know, the more cars you have on your policy, the better the overall deal. Also--see if you can remove medical payments from your premium; IIRC the limit is pretty small ($1000) and I believe it only covers medical payments for your injuries. If you already have health insurance through your job then you're already covered and therefore wouldn't have much need for medical payment coverage on your auto policy. Granted the premium for this is pretty small but heck if you're looking to lower your premium any which way you can, this will help.

Of course if you have a multiple-car policy, just tell the agent that your TL-S is your pleasure car and that you put less than 3k miles/year.

It depends on zipcode, I was quoted 50% lower in Burbank which is about 2 miles down the road!!

Unhappy Harris County, Tx....

I pay about $1350 a year. Clean record. But I also live in, (last time I checked), in the highest insurance county in Texas and maybe even in the freaking country.

For the TLS it's just under $600/yr through Nationwide - Chase sets the minimum coverage, as they hold the title for another 59 payments.

The policy also includes 2 other cars, house and life, so I'm sure there's a discount in there somewhere.
