I just paid $29,000 for a tl-s w/out navi if that helps. That price included the $500 delivery fee.

thats about where I was $50 below invoice. Deal with the internet guy, they seem to be more flexible.

6spdmanual,
Unless you're willing to travel to other parts of the state or to other states - your best bet is to compare apples to apples. Out the door prices vary in large part to the taxes levied in each state and the popularity of the car in that particular area. If you mention which city you're in you may get better info from the gang.

You should also check out Edmunds.com and CarsDirect.com - they can give you a pretty good ballpark figure to work with.

Good luck,

V.

Yeah, $700 over invoice is too much. You should be able to get it around invoice without too much haggling. The TL-S is in its last year of this generation and has very much competition (G35, ES300, A4, etc.) plus a 3% dealer holdback.

Don't forget that the TSX just hit the street. You should easily be able to get inside of 300-400 over invoice

Here are the numbers for a tl-s w/navi:

Invoice $30,030
freight $500
total $30,530

less holdbackbuyback $1004

What it cost dealer $29,526

I paid $50 under invoice, so maybe start at $500 over his total cost and no way go over $30,530. Take this thread with you and show him the numbers, and dont listen to the adv. BS or other crap.

Hope this helps, these are accurate numbers from Consumer Reports.

Unless you want to go to Ohio like that other guy with the $50 below invoice, you should just drive up to Nor. Cal. and get it from Serramonte Acura for $100 over invoice.
