How much do the two rear brake lines cost?
This 2000 TL3.2 has been parked outside for at least 5 years, so we all know the problem of that plastic shield on these lines. In this car, 2 fuel lines and 2 brake lines are all rotted. I replaced two fuels with rubber ones and they worked. As I tried on another car, I couldn't make the flare work on the brake lines. Anyone know how much will it cost to ask a garage to make two rear brake lines?

my goodness....good luck with all of these....someone bought some brake line here and was able to flare/fit it. you might wanna try that.
but, if you're seeing rotting on those lines, no telling what else is rotting, may want to get a good look under there for a damage assessment; many people go crazy hunting down evap error codes when fuel lines are affected.
EDIT: wow...just found your other thread. all rotten

Yeap, I am WFH and looking for a project car, found that 200m away from my home, parked there for at least 5 years. After first look, I saw it worth nothing and didn't take it. But l didn't want to go out to shop around so finally got it for $500. Anyway, the scrap yard will pay $400 to take it.
I can fix most of other problems, except this subframe, which will cost me more than the car. And a fully functional car like this is only sell for 2k on the market, so kind of not worth it.
BTW, surprise to me, this forum is still so active! Maybe I will consider to get a 3rd gen TL-S to work on. I always like its external design, especially the back. Nowadays it's hard to find such good looking cars, and I really don't like this gen's lights. They put it on every car and I think it ruins the whole generation.

That car is in rough shape and that's only what you've found so far! You definitely picked a car that will keep you busy...
