How much compression travel does stock shock have?
If lowering spring eats up ~1.5 - 2 inches of compression travel how much more can the stock dampers compress? I'm concerned about suspension bottoming and hitting the bump stops during hard turns.
Anyone thinking about properly lower their TL should look into this. As far as I know, only way to get proper amount of compression and rebound travel with lowering spring is shortening the stock to match new spring travel length. For this reason only way to do it right is to use coilover setup. I don't think there are any coilovers made for TLs yet. I hope we'll have some chioces from quality vendors soon.
For now, I'm putting off lowering my TL.

Not a Blowhole
Happy: answered this higher up in the list of posts, but Comptech advises me that the drop is 1.25" tops, and that the stock shocks do just fine. They figured that into their planning.
