how many people have a dent on their car, but decied to live with it?

I just got one not too long ago. Its not very noticable, but it is still there. To fix the dent, it will cost me ~300. So, I decided to live with it

how many people agree with my decision?

i have around 4-5 door dings (mabe someday ill fix) and 1 on the A pillar that ill fix this winter and 1 on the fender (also fix with A pillar) and a front bumper missing some paint (which will also be fixed with A pillar and fender) and a hood with about 10 stone chips (which will also be fixed with the A pillar, fender, and front bumper) but im thinking about bringing the door dings to a piantless dent removal place just so i dont have to respray most of the car

I have quite a few on my bumper from parking on the streets. Which is cheaper, to repaint the bumper or replace it completely?

if you can find one other than getting it from the dealer then replacing it would be cheaper, otherwise, repaint would be a little lower. someone bum me a few months ago and the repair was around $500.........

I have a dent on the driver side door from an SUV opening its door and bumping into me. I was told it could be fixed with Dent Wizard(paintless) so I am procrastinating because I know it isn't major. But I have another one that is killing me, I did it to myself, I rammed into a shopping cart I didn't see in a parking lot because it was dark and it was on my fron drivers' side blind spot (the one caused by the mirror and A pillar), I dented my front quarter panel near the headlight right on the crease, ugggh!

Dings are one thing, but dents are another. Bad one can lead to rust, etc. I'm anal so it would bother me until I got it fixed. :P

I did but its gone, thanks to Dent Wizard. Anyone who has a dent with no paint damage should take their car to that company.

They do amazing things for cheap. Less than 1/4 the price of a body shop since there is no repainting involved.

I have no affiliation with them. I am just a very satisfied customer.
They do have an interactive web site.

Repainting if there are no cracks in the plastic is cheaper than a new bumper, by some $150 or more. Someone hit my rear bumper leaving a screw impression from their front plate; I pocketed the money.
Even the new bumpers are not painted. Whether you repair or buy new, the new bumper will never be as good as the factory bumber (flexability/durability).

it comes down to the labor involved. if the paint on the bumper is so bad (sand the whole thing to smooth out deep scratches, or flaking paint because the bumper has been flexed and the paint is cracked) that they have to rework the whole bumper just so that they can paint it it may be around the same price. but most times it wont be. i would say have it resprayed
