Guys with 99-01 TL I need to replace some bulbs parking/stop tail light. I notice the other night that a bulb was out in the rear of the car. This should be a tailight I guess so what I need to know is how many tailight /stoplight bulbs are housed on one side. I would replace everything except reverse& signal bulbs. I would do other side also since I use my lights 100% of the time when I drive. The car is almost 2 yrs & I have did this since day 1. I think I will replace tag light also while I am doing it.

 

Why do you want to replace everything? Just replace the one which is broken.

 

Ok, there are total of 4 bulbs per light. One turing signal, one reverse, and two tail/stop bulbs. They are all white.

 

There are two 7443 bulbs per lense for the brake lights.. 4 total, all clear ones.. this is same for 02 tails as well.

The center brake like in the sub has two 7440 bulbs.

 

Thanks guys for the info. To answer the question why would I want to replace everything Iam only replacing the tail/stop light not the signal or reverse bulbs. Like I posted I drive with my lights on 100% of the time. Since our cars did not come with DRL this is why I do it. I have one tail light out so while I am in the trunk replacing one just replace the others.They will most likey go out soon from constant use. I will change the front marker light bulbs & tag also they get the same use The 3rd brake light is not hooked up since I have spoiler. So I should need total of 4 bulbs for stoplight/tailight.
