Lift the front edge of the bottom back seat up. There are two clips that hold the fron edge in place. I've got a 1999 TL and there's a 10mm bolt that also holds the bottom back seat in place. You can access it by feeling in the seat crack just inside of the inner seat belts. Once you get the lower seat out, you will have 3 other 10mm bolts to remove. Once those are out, the back seat is loose. You can then lift straight up to release the top edge of the seat - held in place by 3 clips.
