how to fix hotspots?
hey guys i have a 02 mdx and i have done the led gauge conversion and im not happy with it. the o2 mdx has same guages as the tl from what ive seen. i bought my leds from www.v-leds.com. my first problem was that they didnt fit perfectly i had to trim the sides so it slides in without stretching the twist clip. but what im worried about is how do you guys fix the hotspots? i saw somewhere where you could use foil but dont remember if it was for gauges or not? or this sharpie fix? i want it to be lit evenly, even though its brightness isnt as bright as i expected.

did you really read the first thread on the first page of that thread there is at least three different things to try......i didn't even read it completely or take my time.......there is everything from tinting the led with a marker......to buying plastic to put behind the cluster to difuse a little.......and shaving the leds and other things to try as well..........the second thread is by OntarioTL who has to have the nicer led cluster on a 2nd gen TL........i know there were segguestions in there as well about disfusing the hotspots.......read em again......or OntarioTL can you tell us again how you disfused some of the light........
