You have to remove the door panel and drill out teh plastic riviots that hold it in place.

So first, i drill out the plastic riviots that are holding the door panel in place, then i just pull the door panel off the door and pop out the wood grain pieces??? Im not quite sure i understand what your saying. So what happens after i drill out the plastic riviots? I cant put it back on now until i go to the dealer and buy new plastic riviots???? WHAT.

i just did this a few weeks ago.

1. Remove the door panels, seach i the forums, it's not hard, it just time consuming.
2. Remove all wires plugged into the panel and take the panel off the door
3. Remove about 20 screws from each panel for the arm rest part to come off in each panel
4. Drill out each plastic rivit and be VERY CAREFUL not to go through the panel, it's very easy to do this.
5. Then do what you like with the wood grain, paint it, sand it, cover it, etc...
6. Since you drilled out the panels, you have to glue them back in place and then put your panels back togeather.

There is a DIY in the DIY section for repairing peeling panels. It's not hard, but it is very time consuming, working alone, took me about 2 hours to get each door panel off and dismantled and wood grain removed.
5.

i did the same thing except for step 6 i found similar screws to the ones that hold on the arm rest and screwed them in and it hold just fine. but be careful not to go to deep into the wood grain
