How do I make a hole in my rear dash?
I need to make a 1 inch round hole in my rear dash.
I finally found a suitable plug for the hole when not in use.
Should I mark it, drill it, and then use a knife to cut a circle?
Also, as a bonus, does anyone have a picture of the rear shock tower with the rear seat removed?
Thanks.

go to home depot and pick up a hole saw. you will be sooo happy with the outcome it is worth the time to drive there. the hole saw will have a drill bit in the center and a round cylinder around the bit. The cylinder can come in sizes from 1/4 inch to 12inches. I have a ton of them in my garage, they are a common tool for cutting holes in metal/wood/plastic basically anything I have one at work that is over 5ft wide and drills through floors of buildings (diamond tipped for concrete cutting).
don't get the spade style ones (typically used just for wood) the ones I have explained above are very common and will make a hole perfectly in the plastic for you. using a knife you might end up slipping and making a long scrape mark or you won't b able to make a perfectly round hole.

If I'm going to use a screwdriver to adjust my rear shocks, I will need a bit of room for light to pass in so I can see what I am doing (I have tokico illumina).
Plus the rubber thingy I found is about an inch in diameter.
Thanks for the info, gonna get that circle bit for sure.
