How come my car doesn't creap forward?

Its been like this for a while but I am going to the dealer for inspection so I might as well have him check this out to. When my car is cold, and its in drive or reverse, it doesnt creap when you release the brake. That is, you have to accelerate. All the other cars I have driven, move when you release the brake. My car also does this when the engine's warm. I was just wondering what this could be. Maybe the idle is too low? Anyone have a clue? This way, I can ask him to check this stuff instead of hearing "no problem found at this time" .

Thanks
Rosh

Would it even be consider a problem? Either way, let me know what the dealer has to say about it.

BTW, mine does creap forward even if it's cold.

Sounds like a torque converter problem. But that'll let you launch off the line at a higher RPM...just like the big boys!!
