how to clean aem air filters

I was just wondering how hard it is to take off the aem air on a cai and how often should you clean it?

you should be able to get at it through the fenderwell

clean it every second oil change...7-8000 miles

I need to know also because I just recently had the AEM CAI installed on my TL.

i dont think its the norm because K and N says its good for 100,000 miles... I would change after 50k fo sho

K&N says 50,000-100,000 for the panel filters (stock air box)

if you let a cone filter go for that long it will look like a brick

7000-8000 miles
