I have heard that the best dealer in Houston to deal with as far as service goes is Sterling McCall Acura in South Houston, does anyone else agree or say otherwise?

I bought my car at Sterling McCall and have been reasonably happy getting it serviced there.. they're OK as far as a dealer goes, and might be the best in Houston. I get my warranty work done there.. but for everything outside of warranty I go to Hondacar shop on Dunvale. They're pretty good though I've only been there once.

I heard Gillman sucks, don't know about Charlie Thomas.. and John Eagle is OK, but I think someone was complaining about it on this board earlier. Your best bet for non-warranty work and servicing is a 3rd party shop.. the only difficult part is finding one that is reputable.

I had good service at John Eagle Honda, maybe that doesn't go for all of the branches? It's out of my way anyways so I guess it doesn't matter.

Anyone with experience at CHARLIE THOMAS ACURA??? It's the closest dealer to me and I am suspicious of Sterling McCall after some posts here and speaking with the service rep on the phone...

Charlie Thomas Acura- anyone?

Charlie Thomas, aka Champion is who I use for my TL-S. I have been reasonably happy with them. They got rid of one of their service managers, and the replacement (Brenda) is very courteous and gets thing done.

The only real complaint I have is that they don't always have a car ready for me and have to send me over to Enterprise--but they *always* give me a car regardless of the work done (warranty versus oil changes and the like).

I have been serviced at Sterling McCall (Previously Acura SouthWest) and been very happy. I had a bad experience with Gillman Honda not Acura. They hit and dented my girls' old Accord and try to blame it on us like that's how we brought it in. Took us almost a week of fussing and lots of tears from my girl and they finally replaced at their will.
