Horrible Dealership -- Avoid

This is the Continental Acura based in Lisle, IL. They not only jack up prices of new TLS when U buy em from them, but their Service sucks.

I took my 03 TL S for an oil change. They did that and supposedly washed my car. I came to pick it up and the rims were still DIRTY and the cup holder had food particles still left from when i dropped it off. This is after I get a speech from the salesman bout how their car wash is better than others and how they take extra time to clean the inside.

So, i went in and bytched the service guy tells me bout how they have guidelines foir a car wash and this is not detailing. I was like UGHHHHH LOOSER! The whole point of a car wash is so that i dont have to go back home and do it Jus a bad experience over all and NOT very nice pple to do business with.

All you pple in Chicago land area, avoid goin to this dealership.

PHEW.. feels good to get this off my chest.

isnt the car wash a courtesy wash so they really didnt have to do it for you. and plus i think they just wash the exterior and vaccum the mats. for a free wash i wouldnt complain but thats just me.

yeah...what your saying is beyond what they should be expected to do..they dont have to wash your car..tis a courtesy..you cant expect thgem to detail your wheels and clean up the mess you left in your cup holder...

you should change the subject because you don't have a valid argument...usually they just rinse the outside and vacuum the mats, its not by any means considered a detailing service. I would go back and apologize.

Hey Ash, thought you sold your ride man. Decided to keep it for awhile longer? Glad you are still with the TL family though.
By the way, don't expect too much from their wash. I normally don't care for it since I wash it myself pretty often. But take whatever you can since it's free.

His point is very valid

- they offer this as an incentive to bring it in to them for service and imply that these things are taken care of.

If the someone tells you they provide a service (free or not) and that level of service is above what you would expect then they set an expectation level. If they fail to meet that you should inform them of your disatisfaction!
