My hood is rattling when driving over bumps. Is the latch adjustable??
The 2 rubber allignment bumpers help out when you wind them all the way up....
the hood is then loose in a downward motion only, instead of rattling loosely up and down, and of course the hood is too high over the fenders.
Saw the 4, looks like 10mm, bolts attaching the lock mechanism to the frame.
Should I wrap a band-aid around the hood latch??

Yes the latch is adjustable . If its loose adjust it so that there isnt play. Be carefull that you dont over do it and have a hard time opening the hod.

Is it the 4 screws in front of the lock mechinism that need to be loosened?

Took of the plactic upper shield (with the plastic screw/locks). The grill has a few behind the bumber area and am having trouble getting to them.
Also, there is a metal plate infront of the lock (behind the grill) which also looks like it will need to come off before you can get at the 4 lock bolts.
Please advise if this is the correct procedure.
