Nope. No recall for the TL or CL. We just get the extended warranty.

Isn't it basically the same tranny!? Does the TL/CL have basically the same tranny as the accord/odessy minivans?

My 02 TL-S tranny just went out yesterday. VSA, check engine, and hazard lights lid up. D5 light was blinking. Drove straight to the dealer to show the tech service guy. Today, they said it was the tranny and will replace it with a new one. I am driving a Hyundai rental for the next week.
I went to NHTSA.dot.gov site and filed a complaint. There are a lot of complaints in there about tranny problems. Go to TL not 3.2TL. If there are a lot of complaints filed, may be ACURA will recall the tranny for TLs. Also, I am planning to call ACIURA customer service 800-382-2238 pst. I was told to talk to Kevin. He might be able to give extension on the warranty. Good luck all on this battle.

WTF!!!! Does the MDX/Pilot and Odyessys have the same transmissions as CLs and TLs?

I called Acura and he stated that they were not the same transmissions..



Does anyone have a transmission number/part number from an MDX/Pilot Odyessy? Want to know if they share the same part number as Cls and TLs...
