I was gonna order the saber grill (fits 02-03) from heeltoe once, but now it's no longer on the site. I believe (don't quote me) if you call and ask, he might be able to get the complete grill for you and also honda center caps for stock wheels.

I have a 2002 TL-S and I would like to do a jdm conversion do. I have been doing some researching, but still have a few questions,
1.) for my TL, do I get the inspire's grille, or saber's? I believe one is for 99-01 TL's, and the other is for the facelifted model.
2.) How easy/difficult is it to perform the conversion by myself? Please note that I have never ever messed around with my car before so I am pretty much a newbie.
3.) In the future, if I want to sell the car, I will most likely convert it back to USDM. How hard is that going to be? Will there be any "marK" on the car (assuming I will use glue or some sort of epoxy when converting).
4.) Where can I get the center caps of the rims? I have a hard time finding these.
Thanks all of you in advance!
BTW, I hope this doesn't count as stealing the thread since it's still about the jdm conversion!

2) It's EASY. The grille is just a bolt in deal and the badges are affixed using double sided tape.
3) Just as EASY. You won't leave any marks if you just stick with the double sided tape that the badges have from the factory.
Good luck.

Like you alluded to, the '99-'01 grille will not fit an '02-'03, or vice versa.

Anyways,
1.) Now I understand the differences between 99-01 Saber grille and 99-01 Inspire grille, but what about 02-03? So far I have only seen 02-03 Inspire grille for sale.
2 & 3.) How do I take the original badges/letters off?
Thanks again

This is the saber grill for 02-03. Marcus can get it I believe. To remove your emblems you just pour some warm water over them (to loosen the adhesive) and then use some dental floss or fishing line to peel them off the car. Next, you get some goo gone and a rag to loosen the gunk off the paint. That part can take awhile, but is easy. Then apply your new badges or if yourgoing badgeless polish and wax the paint.

I was thinking the '02-'03 Saber and Inspire grilles were like the '99-'01s (vertical bars vs. horizontal, etc.) and that pic proves it. BTW, the Inspire grille ('99-'03, either one) will have a bright horizontal bar ("wing") on each side of the "H".

so in other words, the inspire grille looks similar to the 02-03 TL grille? To me it seems like the saber grille looks more classy. Also thanks for the steps! But damn, $200+ for all those parts haha!
