Homelink question
Hey guys
I just bought a '99 TL, and am absolutely thrilled with the car. I am trying to program the Homelink with my garage door opener, but it wont accept it. My parents have an older opener, and it programmed the 1st try with theirs, but it wont with mine. I tried both ways the owners manual suggests, but I figure its some with the newer door openers and the rolling codes. Anybody know a trick I might be missing. I appreciate any feedback given. Thanks

My '99 didn't work either with the instructions in the owners manual. I ended up calling the homelink phone number listed in the OM (1-800-355-3515) and followed the exact procedure they tell you (I think there are 4 steps...). That got mine to work. Hope thats helps. Good luck!

Searched for this a little while ago.
After programming the remote into the homelink, press the learn button on the garage door opener itself, then press the homelink button associated with that door for two seconds until the light stops flashing, several times until the door reacts to the homelink.
Kinda confusing, but try http://www.homelink.com/program.php if all else fails. GL.
