Hit curb, now steering seems stuck...
Hi, I was wondering if anyone would be able to shed some light on a situation I have. I just hit a curb on my 99 TL and now it seems like my steering wheel is stuck, I can move it but with difficulty, and when I go into a turn the steering wheel doesnt correct itself I have to turn the steering wheel back or it is stuck in that position... can anyone help!!?? Thanks

Could be a number of things...
You bent something in the front end, jammed/froze up the ball joints or tierods, screwed up your power steering and/or the rack & pinion.
It sound serious enough that you may need to take it to a shop to get checked out...
Whatever it is, you'll need a realignment once it's fixed anyway, so you might as well start there (realignment shop or other mechanic) and have them check it out and do a realignmment job.
Hope it's not TOO pricey! Good luck!

DRINKING HAS A ME PROBLEM
mine did that after my accident. they had to replace the whole rack and pinion peice. that goes from the steering wheel to the wheels. it sucks but other people insurance paid for it. its pricey

Time to get it to an alignment shop and let them tell you what you bent. Sounds like you may have done damage to the rack, or balljoints

I hit a curb the other day in my TL. Theres some nasty curb rash on my nice polished rim and the steering wheel is slightly off center now. Hopefully all i need is an alignment. Same thing happened to my Impala and the steering wheel was off even more but an alignment fixed it. If the car doesnt take an alignment then ur f*cked
