HIDExtra HID kit.. D2R not really D2R?

I just installed an HIDExtra D2R (6000k) kit in my 02 TL-S. I really didn't know much about these lights when I started, however now that it is all installed I realize the "D2R" lights I got from them don't have the glare shield like the old ones had. After looking around a bit I suspect these are actually D2C, which can technically replace D2R or D2S and don't have the shield.

I'm worried that the headlights are going to have too much glare to other drivers. Has anyone else installed bulbs from HIDExtra? Do you have any issues with glare?

The glare is going to be completely negligible. I looked at a D2R and a D2S, one in each headlight, and I couldn't honestly tell a difference by eye, at any distance away.

It will still be better than the idiots who plug HID kits into reflector housings and call it a day.

OK great thanks. I see this kit recommended a lot on here which is why I got it, so I assume others must be using these bulbs without an issue.
