Hid Inverter
anybody know what kind of inverter or where I can get an inverter from for the hid lights because the dealership said that the reason my driver side hid is not working because my inverter is broken? If someone knows of anything or anylinks where I can get information please let me know. THanks

I believe the inverter or some people call them the blast is a small metal box that's connected to your headlights. If you follow the headlight wires, it should lead you that box. If that's the case, you might as well get an entire unit, it's cheaper that way.

Yes its called a Ballast.. Its the most expensive part of the HID Kit.. Costs more than $300, that plus the light for 100-200 makes the total price $400-500 for one light... How much is dealership charging?

The (#2) ignitor costs you roughly $105 whereas the (#11) ballast (inverter) costs you around $187 from dealer. Just make sure which one doesn't work before you order.

What year car?? The HIDs are different from 2002+.
I blew out my inverter/contol unit assembly on my car as Acura calls it, and thats the silver box under the headlight. #7
The ignitor is # 10 on the diagram, so this is a little different than the 99-01 TL. I got my part from my local dealer who matched the price on this site, maybe you can do the same.
