HID Fog lamp conversion
Is there a full HID conversion for the TL-S fog lamps? Not just white bulbs, but real HID so that it will match the headlamps exactly. If so where can I get it and how much does it cost?

Another thing to consider is the the difference between the fogs and the headlights. The fogs are set up for halogen and the headlights designed for HID. The big difference is that the HID reflector in the headlights reflects the HID light which effects the color of the light output. When you place a 9006 plug and play HID bulb into the fogs the relector is not set up for HID's. The result is that most of the HID's that people place in the fogs are much brighter that there main driving lights. Sometimes when people convert their fogs to HID's it is almost like the driving lights now look like they have halogen bulbs in them because the fogs are so much brighter. Take a look at past conversations about this.

Another thing is maybe your best bet would be to try out different brands and manufacturers of HID conversion kits and look to see which one looks the best. Going to the highest light output may not looks the best when compared to the driving lights. I wonder if a shop who sells different types would let you do this??

I can answer some of your questions. Currently I have HID 6000K fog and 6000K in main headlight. It matches perfectly! You can order these online at: www.autolamps-online.com.
you need to order a set of 90006 6000K Xenon HID Headlamp conversion kit for $579. w/free shipping. that's all you need to convert fog to HID. I know it might be too expansive but if you have money to spend, do it. It's worth the money.
Also you can change your stock HID 4100K D2R to 6000K D2R for $290/pair w/free shipping.
worrying about glare? no problem! take a look these pictures. I had these on for almost 4 months and no one complain. Acura did really nice job on our Fog housing. It has a nice shield around the bulb so the light will not bounce around the housing. It has nice cut line when the fog is on...

My buddy has an extra set of HID's + ballast, so i'm going to put them in my fogs this weekend. (already checked for compatability)
I'll let you know how it goes, any problems and such. The only think i'm not sure about is how to wire the fogs to stay on with parking lights (so when i change to high beams, they dont shut off and on) Any advice would be helpful!
Wish me luck, i'll report back on sunday!

converting from halogen fog to HID fog is VERY VERY VERY EASY!!!
It is like a plug and play thing.
take out halogen light bulb and put HID bulb that connects to ballast and from ballast to stock wire. that's all. Only the tricky part is to find a ballast to store. usually you can stick it on to anywhere in side. when you take out the fog light you will see nice big empty space you can store the ballast.

I don't think the dealer will do these job.
Message to Craz Acura: dude, dang it! I miss the meeting... again! I haven't check the forum for long time and... I miss the meeting! Now the weather is nice, I'm going to see if our stock HID fit in the fog housing. you might have to do some modification since our stock is not made to fit 9006 bulbs. anyway, it's good hear from you.

i installed a full HID kit into where the foglights are located. the bulb itself is a HB4 (9006) and it fits right into the fog light housing. the wiring was simple, it was just the matter of where to mount the ballasts. i have the violet HIDs but it changes color from certain angles. from the side it's blue, from the front it's really white with some violet, and a little to the side it's really violet. it looks pretty nice at night.
