Hi...when is the new TL model coming out?
my sister wants a TL-S, since we can't afford a 330Ci ![Frown](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
anyhow...she doesn't want a car that is gonna change design
within a year...
and she is gonna keep da car for a while...she is graduating
from college...
btw...i test drove TL-S...damn that car is MUCHO fast...
i didn't like it how it shift at 4k rpm in da first though...
seemed to high for a luxury car...
and cornering wasn't even close to my 5th gen lude...
BMW 325Ci just sucked...oh my god...did it every suck...
so basically she wanted the 325Ci for looks and name,
but my brother and I pressured her to go with the S...
So is Acura bringing out a new design for 2003?

Shogun Assassin
the '03 TL's are already out if that's what you're asking...and the car shifts at different RPM's depending on hard you're pressing on the gas pedal

Well, the BMW IMHO is safer, handles better, and the size of the car is better for a female driver...
The new TL should show up as 2004 model year... and that should come out no sooner then summer/fall 2003...
I think girls looks way better in a bimmer....
and depends on if she is a good driver or not... is she is a good driver, she will like the handling of the Bimmer... and if she is not that comfortable at driving...
the 260hp FWD setup is not a really good thing for her...
JMHO

but then...
i can't justify paying $37000 for a 2.5 liter and what...180 hp?
lol...200 hp in my lude is too little for me...
well she is used to driving a 4 cyl accord and she think
da beamer is way faster than the accord lol...

now safety wise, styling wise, handling wise and being classy.... she would look great in a steel gray or Topaz Blue 325... a MUCH better female car IMHO. Now how much can she appreciate the technology of the bimmer is another story.... One thing that I REALLY like about bimmer is their suspension, and weight distribution, now man... that's engneering... the car doesn't dive and stuff..
I would get the TL-S, get a set of coilover, good summer tires, swaybar, and some brake up grades. Now it won't be as good as the bimmer and it won't out handle the bimmer. But with the extra power, and if you know what you are doing... then it can be a faster car... but since it's for her and not for me.... I would go with the 320i, and when you guys got the $$$, drop in a new engine...
