hi i have a question

hi i ordered brakemotive slotted and cross-drilled rotors around december and since then when i am slowing down they seem to get hot very fast because within a matter of second i can feel the vibration in my pedal then it turns more into shaking, now are the brakemotive rotors just that crappy? or maybe i put the slots the wrong way, is anybody else having this same problem with these, or is aware of which side each rotor goes on. and i know it cant be anything else cause i jus put on brand new tires and coilovers.

Maybe your rotors are warped?

they are brand new though, i know what warped rotors feel like they shake when you press the brakes, but these dont act warped, they only do it after they get hot, like when your going 100mph then press your brakes hard to slow down, and after a lil they vibrate some cause their getting soo hot

make sure that they are on teh right way. it should say R and L on the rotor. reusing old pads? or new pads (and what kind)? proper break in? wheels torqued properly? bleed the system?

- ike rajca says- recheck everything

directional rotors have an arrow -----> on them near the center of the hub for forward direction- to front of car OR a giant R for right-passenger and L for driver side

on backwards would be bad

recheck install- overtightened caliper bolts cause problems, failure to lube things will too
Always suspect the work last done, including lug nuts on new wheels not done right
Must be 80 foot pounds and bring them up even and slow,,biggest cause of warped rotors is not heat but poor wheel install!

remove pads and ck for heat scarring to see if real or imagined excess heat,
blue on rotor?? heat
