Question Hesitation?

2500 miles on my new 2002 TL. Great car but...

I've been experiencing intermittent roughness during deceleration. Usually occurs when letting my foot off the gas, the car seems to hesitate or stutter. Usually experience around 45mph and sometimes at lower speeds. I suspect it's the transmission downshifting not as smoothly as I would like.

Brought the vehicle back to the dealer, they report "no trouble found".

Anyone else experience this? Any suggested remedy or is this a "feature" I'll have to live with?

Yep, me too. the tranny is definitely rougher than when new. dealer said the same thing, and one guy even tried to sell me a tranny fluid change. I said that the manual said to change it at 80,000 miles, he looked at the manual, shook his head and said "Bullsh*t."

How professional is that? I called the national Acura rep and complained. I mean, sure, he gets paid to sell people service they don't really need, but please don't try to push me around like that. I know better and told the national rep.

they sure treated me better today when i went in!

Exclamation

I had the same hesitation with my TL. The Dealership said the hesitation problem had to do with the coil packs. Don't ask me what they do or where they are? The dealership replace all the coil packs and I've not notice the hesitation since the replacement.
