help with sunroof maintenance
Does anybody with a Helm's manual know if our sunroof requires regular lubrication or any other maintenance?
My sunroof is making a rattling noise when driving over bumps when it is in the fully opened position.

If you talk about the seal, there's a fix using tape around the opening. I'm sure many members know about it, it's permanent fix from dealer. If it's other mechanical parts like hinges or joints, I guess try using some grease won't hurt. Bring it to dealer if it's there afterwards.

I had something similar to this. When my sun shade was open, the sunroof would make this creeking noise.
Close the sunroof and get out of the car. Push down on top of the sunroof and see if it recreates the noise in question. If it does make the noise, open the sunroof and take some Armor All and go around the rubber seal. It gets dirty and doesn't slide against the metal when the car bends and flexes. It will soften it up, and it shouldn't creek anymore.

I think this a job thats best left to the dealer or a good auto glass place, but I'm curious if that tape will help.
