I have a 99 tl that I recently bought which just passed 100,000 miles...With my luck, the tranny has recently been having problems...It works fine on the highway yet does not switch correctly on the road. This leads me to believe the problem is not a faulty tranny (which was brand new when i bought the car, only has 10K on it) but a problem with the power control module. Does anyone know where this is on the car or any other possible solutions...Acura is being of absolutely no help! They refuse to pay for a new one if needed and also will not give me any advice on how to fix the problem myself, justforcing me to buy a new tranny which is no longer under warranty. (when i dont believe one is needed)...suggestions??
