Help needed with 99 TL-P 4A oil pan
My buddy decided to get his oil changed the last few times @ jiffy lube, they ended up stripping his oil pan threads. We're thinking about replacing the oil pan. Is it more than just draining it and removing 18 or so bolts on the bottom? Or am I getting into something that might end up me having to get the car towed? I'm a decent DIYER able to change brakes and such with ease.

You don't have to replace the whole oil pan. You can just get it re-thread....any decent mechanic that have the right tools can do that for you very cheaply.
