HELP!My Car Was Totaled

Yes..sadly someone hit me and totaled my car and now i have less than 12 hours to remove everything audio wise from my vehicle. I have a Kenwood KDC-355u proffesionally installed in there, but I only have one radio extraction key! I need to find out how can I get it out without extraction keys.

This sucks i just spent 300 total to get all my equipment installed last week and now my car is totaled. So all I ask is for some one to help me redeem my 130 bucks by removing this headunit before the car leaves my sight for good.

Man I hate to see her go.....

Get a reciprocating saw and cut out the dash.

We already got paid 4k for the loss..so idk what the insurance company plans on doing with it, so idk if I want to go that route. Right now it's at the collision shop..and they're expecting the keys and the stock radio in the morning because I said I was going to find a way to get it out by tomorrow morning.

Does the knife method work? I just don't want to break anything.

Damn, if you don't want to break anything, then you need to remove the console. Check here for diagram:

Tell them stop fucking rushing you. They can't be rushed to repair your car so don't let them rush you. Take your time and get it figured out.

the proper way to take out the radio is this(that is if u can still get in the car and move these things around) sit in the driver side(preferred) open ur middle console at the bottom theres a cloth if ur installer put it back now grab a screwdriver(drill preferred) and release those screws, now take off ur woodgrain by just pulling them off, now unscrew all the bolts u see take off the plastic sides, now this is a lil hard but get a screwdriver, where ur ecu is take that plastic piece off that covers it theres two screws one to the left and the other to the right undo those now u must pry up both seat heater controls once u pull them up they have wires push the release button on both than pull of the chrome cover that displays what position ur in as in drive etc.. now pull everything out and blame ur radio should be easy to pull out i know the feeling of losing ur car i rolled over my tl last july 5 times and i only had liability, i paid to get it out of the towing place and brought to my house(lots of blood -__-) only reason i got it out was cause i invested half of the cars worth in audio in video glad i did tho i had an eclipse double din radio, 2 9 inch headrest, 1 25 inch flip down, 3 l5 kickers, 1 2000 watt hifonics, 400 dollar alarm system.. but at least i found another tl and im rebuilding it
