Arrow Help Me Out...

My 2000 TL is acting pretty weird lately, So today I go for a drive and as soon as I start the car the CHECK ENGINE and TCS light goes on. The TCS went off By itslef after 10 min of Driving But the Check Engine light is still on. There was no D5 light on.

I thought it could be the tranny but the tranny is shifting perfectly like it always did no problems with the tranny.

Also,For tha last month the car has been sitting in the driveway I warm it up everysecond day. Also I havent changed the oil, it was due at 135 000 Kilometers Now its at 138 000km. So Im overdue 3k on the oil could that be it? Anyways the car is driving perfectly there is nothing noticably wrong wiht it just the CHECK ENGINE light is on. And I cant make it to a garage for another two weeks because of my lisence so any of u have an Idea of whats up with the car??

What do you mean it's acting "pretty weird"? Do you just mean with the lights coming on? If that's all, it could be anything. Just take it to an Autozone, Pep Boys, or Kragen and they'll check and clear the code for you. (Some places do it for free, others charge around $20). If it comes on again, then you should worry. Mine came on one day and it turns out that all it was was the computer logged a misfire. For some reason the TCS light came on too. After I had the code read and cleared, it never came back on again. In other words,.. it's probably nothing,.. just your computer noticed something that thought you should be aware of.

teh TCS comes on most times that teh check engine does. Its just the way honda designed it. Get to a auto parts store and have them read the code. Most do it for free. Get the code and come back and let us know what it is

Before I bought the car, The car had the CEL on, Turns out the cylinders were missfiring they replaced a cyldinder I think, because the bill came upto 900$ to fix the misfire problem so You guys think it would come back again just after 5k of fixing the problem?? This fixed at an Acura Dealership.. The problem occured at around 120- ish Kilometers.

Take it to autozone and have the code scanned. We can all speculate all night long just go get the code - it's free.
