Help me...MODS

Hey all, I just bought a new 03 TL-S and am thinking about doing some mods on it. I was just interested in getting some opinions on what I should do first to my car. If you were in my position what MODS would you start with first and WHY? Thanks for your thoughts!

Welcome to the forum.

I would start out by familiarizing yourself with the search button. I would also look in the performance parts and modification section. Look for headers intake and UR pulleys. Suspension and handling i would look in the tires and suspension area.

Tint, system, LED conversion, suspension, wheels, fog lights (if you don't have them) and clean it like crazy. Welcome to the boards!

thanks all for your help...I was thinking lowering it cause I think it just is badass...I just think I don't want to go through tires quickly since there will be extra strain on the wheels...even with camber kit...any ideas on prices and what I should get for coil overs and intake? thanks again ya'll

Actually the CL has so much wheel gap that lowering it 2" in the F and 1.7" in the R generally doesn't create that much issue with uneven tire wear. TEIN Basics or SS will accomplish this. So will Eibach or H&R springs. Feel free to PM me for pricing.

for 500 bucks for springs and shocks, you can get coilovers with adjustable height for a lil bit more

yeah, I definitely would want adjustable coils, stupid ass emissions test here in CO won't allow me to get the test if the car is low enough that when they drop it scrapes...I had this problem with my Civic SI two years ago...hate it it...How much would an install for all that be, I am not savy enough to do it myself....?

The price depends on the kind of shop you go to.

There was a thread made a while back with a big list of mods with approximate prices and where to start looking for them. I was looking for it the other day and couldn't find it so maybe someone could help me out.

That's a very general statement. I think you might want to rephrase that to:

A lot of cheap ebay style sleeve and spring type coilovers have a harsher ride.

TEIN, H&R, OMNI, etc do not.
