HELP: Lowering springs question(s)

All,

Just bought some 18's for my 03 TLS and need to go ahead and lower it an inch or so. I don't want to sacrifice the good ride I have so don't want to drop it that much. Could someone suggest a brand of spring and perhaps a good place in the Dallas TX area to get the springs put on.

Thanks in advance..

JIM..

If you want mild drop, try H&R OE or CT springs. OE lowers ~1" even and CT about 1.75" front and 1.5" back

Teins. Also I believe the CTs only do a 1.5 in the front and .9 in the rear.

I am also considering a drop and feel the same way about losing a good ride quality but also want to make it worth my time and have it actually look lowered, so I am planning on going with the Comptech's ,I havent heard anything bad about them . Anyone else have some input??

the H&R sports look pretty good. I put them on my TLS with stock rims and the drop is pretty nice. The ride quality changes very little but you get used to it. You'll like the change in handeling the best. Its pretty even too

I've got Comptechs with stock TLS wheels and don't feel the ride quality was sacrificed at all (also have the sways). How did the 18's affect the ride from stock? I'm considering those in the future.

I love the OE Springs i got. I will be putting my 18" C5s in the coming week or so, so ill let you know the ride quality with 18's. As for ride quality with stock rims, I didn't lose any ride quality, turning feels alittle better though.
