Exclamation Help!! I tried adjusting my headlights & theres smoke!

:banghead: :banghead:

Ok, I know I have a CL & NOT a TL, but I thought that this was a general f**k up that you guys could possibly help me out with..

What.....the F**K is going on?? Ok so I followed the instructions on this thread...

http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/show...;threadid=50672

I adjusted the beams so that they were at my desired height and the left/right setting, and I turn on my car and take a test drive to see how much it lights up the road. As soon as I come to a stop along my test drive, I see some smoke coming from my front right passenger headlight!! Right now I'm trippin out cuz I JUST got this fucking car and now things are already @ a bad start...

So I pull over, pop the hood, and over by the front right passenger headlight, it stinks a little bit like something is burned, but i cant tell what!! I look from the ouside into the housing, and there is like condensation or whatever the f**k (bubbles i dont know) on the inside rim of the high beam area. Why the F**K is there shit by the high beam?? I didn't even touch the god damn high beam. And it seems it only smokes when the engine is running?? Somebody please f**kin help my lost soul!!!

P.S.

By the way, should I bring the car into the dealer tmrw and tell them all of a sudden I see smoke comin from teh headlight? Therefore, never tell them I adjusted it?? Or will they know?? What do I do?!?

i would take it to the dealer no matter what, i sure they would know but you dont want them causing furhter damage, or lighting on fire.

dealer, yes

telling them you touched it, no

definitely bring it back and have them replace it. the stock setting for the headlights is pretty decent to begin with, you might not want to mess with it too much for fear of blinding people.
