help! i got a chip!

help! my car is only 2 months old... i think a stupid rock chipped my car and its only about .3 mm radius chip...

Question is...

1. Will Acura factory NBP touch up paint do the job?
2. Will it look like new?
3. Will the paint wear off?
4. How much does it cost?

Thanks

the thing is though, i thought it was a water mark, so i tried to scratch it off, now its WHITE!

so its a tiny white circle in the middle of black paint.... which is very visible...

Dealers will not bother fixing those stuff for you since your car is already 2 months old. If you think about it, do you consider that "under warranty"? If not, don't bother wasting your time, just get some touchup paint.

Here is a tip... Use a toothpick to apply the touchup paint... The brush from that bootle is great if you are painting the Mona Lisa ...but sucks when you want to do stone chips...

You'll need to apply it about 3-5 times (let it dry inbetween) to build up the chip.

I've got this down to an art... but my car is silver so its easier to conceal.

TLS Rulz is dead on. Use a toothpick to apply touch-up and build up over several applications. The real art is leveling the build-up. I start with 1500 wet/dry and buff it out with various grit polishes. I've got mix results on my dark blue pearl finish. Better yet, there are mobile auto restoration techs that specialize in this. Your Acura dealer will have a name because they call them in to re-condition used cars. I was quoted a price of $150 -$200 to do repair the chips on my entire car. I doubt if you'll get much of a break on price for repairing one chip. But always a good name to have on hand.
