My GF let her friend test drove our 03 TLS today (Big mistake!!). Apparently this girl drove the car off the parking lot without releasing the foot brake. She drove for about a 'few' minutes until the noise from the rear brake got very loud. (I was not present so I am not sure what exactly is 'a few minutes' means ).

I test drove the car tonight to see if i notice any damage. The car seems to drive fine. I paid extra attention to the braking and I do not notice any shaking or pulsating feeling. I had the radio off when I was driving and I noticed the engine was running a little bit louder, or am I over-reacting since there was no music?? I am worry that some hidden damage has done to the car..or am I too paranoid? Should I bring the car to the dealer?

Does the parking brake still work? It may need to be re-adjusted. It must not have been set too hard, or I can't believe that it would even begin to drive normal. Chicks????

 

Also be more careful when setting the parking brake-given partial throttle the car should not move if the parking brake is fully engaged.

 

just chill ..... pigeons will sometimes do stupid things ...... just tell your GF not to let other people drive a 30K brand new car hehe
