Help with 2000 Acura TL Transmission info
Hello guys I am new here. I searched forum but nothing relevant found by me.
I am working on 2000 Acura TL 5-speed automatic transmission. And I was checking the resistance on solenoids and sensors. But the source I have MOD5 shows different sensors, specifically countershaft speed sensor and mainshaft speed sensor.
MOD5 shows 2 prong sensor with readings of 400-600 ohms. But My project has 3 prong sensors and I am reading 8.7K ohms and 9.4K ohms respectively. I measured two outside leads of three.
Is this within the spec?
I believe the part number is 28810-P7W-004.
Solenoids are within the specs.
Oh, the car in question has about 200,000 miles on it. Original transmission failed around 160,000 miles then the tranny was rebuilt by a independant shop and it lasted another 45,000 miles.
Thanks in advance.
