heh, life is good

Took my 2000 TL in to the dealer today cause the tranny's weird shifting between 2 and 3 was getting worse. They checked it out for an hour and told me, yup, we're gonna replace the tranny, SWEET! New tranny, they are gonna keep the car order the tranny and replace it. Now here is the best part, he sends me to the cashier for the loaner car... She writes on the paper 2003 3.2 TL Type-S!!! I freaked! Its tan, not my favorite color, wish I could have had black or anthracite but I shouldn't complain! I'll be having a little fun with it this weekend, heh heh heh

No such thing as a tan colored TL Type-S. Did you mean the white or silver color?

That's funny because I've seen a couple tan/gold coloured TL-S here in Canada.

I think the color is Naples Gold Metallic which looks like tan in certain lightings.

Ask the dealer to just keep your car and you keep that loaner instead.....then, life will be perfect for you

I didn't think Acura was replacing with new trannys. I thought they were all rebuilt from other people's trannies that failed.

Who knows, I could be all off..

For 2003, Acura replaced the Naples Gold Metallic with Desert Mist on the TL.
