Talking Hee, hee, hee... I feel so dirty!

I was coming out of a movie today and heading back home. I'm the 2nd car in the left turn lane just waiting for our light to turn green. Our light finally turns green and I see a group of teenagers (about 6 or 7) jaywalk in front of the first car as it reaches the middle of the intersection! Crap, now I'm also stuck in the intersection, too!

Anyway, the kids decided they'd teach us big cars a lesson and s-l-o-w-l-y sauntered to the other side. I have to say that that was what pissed me off -- they didn't even try to hurry across! Well, the first car was heading into lane-3 (farthest on the left) so I maneuvered towards lane-1... still waiting for these knuckleheads to get across. And just as the last one cleared my bumper by about 5 feet -- I stomped on the gas pedal causing my VTEC and CAI to kick in -- which caused that dumbass to jump about 5 feet!

There wasn't any chance I'd have hit him... but I still felt guilty afterwards. I was still laughing though! I bet he won't saunter in front of another TL-S again!

I laugh, but I am guilty of sauntering sometimes as well.

:wow: VTEC and CAI? I would of thought that your squeeling tires would of been the one that scared them the most. I would post more topics like these, but flames seem to be way too common around these parts. :flamer:

Been there done that

Actually a couple of times.

OK I will tell one.

it was on south beach on ocean drive. Very slow traffic. This idiot was talking to a guy inside his car, sitting by the window/door outside with his back and facing the road. I put my front right wheel next to him. I'm talking about less than 1 feet. This was on my eclipse(stick) Then I punch it and peel off good....smoke and everything...heheheheeh

That guy got so scare he jumped so high. He didn't know I was right there, less he knew I was going to do that. It was all good because the guy look at me after the fact and smile giving me a thumbs up....don't know why, but cool.

I'll share my story (actually have storieS....plural, but it's best I keep it to myself)...

I was coming down a typical one way NYC street when a POS, double parked in a Town Car decided to open his door right before I was to squeeze through.

Needless to say I had to jam on my brakes and come to a stop when he came out..........he took a extra long time gettin out knowing that I'm pissed.

Well, since I was in my Mustang, and rage took over common sense, I proceded to do a burn out when he closed his door and steered the rear end close to him..................., a$$hole jumped up onto his hood real fast.

Hee, hee... with my new sticky tires I don't hear 'em squeal anymore. It was all engine noise, baby!

And I don't worry too much about the flamers. I prepared myself before deciding to post this thread!

TLDanny: Pick up the pace when you cross that street!

Tuff Gong & Bitium: You're some crazy mo'fo's!

Later,

V.

Unless I'm imagining things... before I had the CAI all I'd hear was VTEC. But after the CAI was installed -- whew! I'd swear the roar was a lot louder!

Someone else with a CAI can chime in on this if they want...

Heh, heh, heh... I'm not a mechanic, but I play one on T.V...

I like to roll down the window, flip the bird, and yell a few obscenities at people that I feel are intentionally going slow across the street!

It always seems to be the young "ghetto" punks.

Or how about the bike riding pansies who peddle along and think it is OK to ride on the white line on the right side of the car lane and NOT over towards the right (like where you change a flat) where its is common sense 400% safer!!! Any stories out there how you deal with that? I mean you have to drift alittle left to the center of the whole road to avoid those idiots.
