Heads Up! Cheap Mobil 1 Price

Don't know about your local wal-mart, but mine in
Frisco Texas has the 5 quart Mobil 1 Tri-Syntetic Oil
for $17.88 a container. That's $3.58 a Quart!

They had 10-30 and 5-30

Dumb question, probably, but what happened to the 5w20 spec. that Acura was talking about last year? I noticed on the owners web site they now spec. 5w30 now.

This is a question that has been discussed to death. To make a long story short, people seem divided among 3 camps

1. Mobile 1 5W30
2. Redline 5W-20
3. Don't give a rats ass...

Personally I use Mobile 1 5W-30 (the acura owners site recommends this weight - but the manual is different...).

Yea I am aware of the technical discussions, I just wondering if anyone new why Acura appears to have changed direction.

I have two Wal Mart stores near my area. One store sells Mobil 1 around $3.50 and the second store priced them around $4.50. So check another store if one store is selling Mobil 1 at $4.50.

I talked to the guy at Wal-Mart and he said it was an everyday low price.
