Police are all over the place for the last two weeks to stop street racing. Damn, I wonder how it's goona be like after the moving came out...

 

there will always be street racing..now more people will know about it...

 

They have a reason to be worried: There's gonna be a small (hopefully) contingent of idiots who see the movie then try to imitate it.

Having grown up during and been part of the import craze (with my trusty turbo GS-R) I was kind of turned off by the trailer. There was lots of gunplay and whatnot... that's not how I remember things and it's probably going to be enough to keep me from seeing the movie right away. However, that one scene at the street races when the cops show up and 500 people HAUL ASS to their cars brings back memories.

..and what is UP with the fugly graphics they put on their cars!

Someone I know is the friend with the owner of the RX-7 in the movie. He told me that the 7 was silver... until they painted it red and put that crazy mofo graphics on his ride.
