If it was chopped, the editor did a pretty good job of putting a reflection of the guy walking by in the nearest headlight.

Either way I think it's butt ugly.:yack:

Looks stupid. Some people just have too much time and money for useless things.

I'll give him mad props to do this, but it just doesn't look right. If I want my car to look like a GS, I would spend the money and get the Lexus. The headlights are just too much for me. :yack:

Haha....so what's your point? That we don't have ballz because we still have our stock headlight unit and it hasn't been stolen yet?

This IS NOT photoshopped....it's really being done at a place who does work for us. LOTS of work involved in this project. Can't wait to see the finished product.

If you went to all that trouble to cut the hell out of a TL for a headlight conversion why not put the best looking headlights out there in. Infinity Q-45.

Yeah, I agree on that. At least get something with projectors. Also, it looks like you have to use bondo in between those headlights.......hmmm.......

The guy doing the install does all custom body work. A GS bumper will be molded into the factory bumper and the hood will be reworked, along with the quarter panels to accomodate the headlights.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate. I guess people get confused when someone post a pic like that. I'm sure the haters will become lovers once the after pics are posted, but I still say projectors are the way to go. Something like

this or this

If this isn't a photochop then IMO it was a horrible idea. They mix sharp lines with round lights. This is a TL forum why can't you be happy with the original design of the car. I'm not against cosmetic mods but ist an Acura afterall not a Lexus.

I think it looks pretty sweet!! MADDD props for having the balls to do such a conversion!! I don't think I personally would do something like that unless my headlights got jacked also... You will def get looks from all kinds of car people!! are you gonna debadge the car to hide it's true identity?? Who ever is doing that custom work has to be a complete badass with sheetmetal and bondo!!! I hope he also uses some thick steel to bolt your headlights to the frame!

This is def original stuff so fock you haters
