headlamp adjustment

My left headlamp assembly was replaced by the dealer under warranty. I noticed it does not fit flush to the grill trim as the right side does. How can I adjust the assembly outward to match the flush fit of the right side?

if the dealer replaced the housing why not let them fix it.. its a pain to adjust the housing because you need to remove the bumper.... why not save the hassle and have the dealer just fix there mistake?

Blazin TL---you're young, but give sound advice! I was hoping it was a simple adjustment I could do. If anyone knows otherwise, please share. Thanks!

I don't believe there are any adjustments since the assembly bolts to the bumper/chassis. Something wasn't lined up right, so he is right...take it back to have them correct it. The only adjustments that I know of are for vertical and horizontal headlight beam adjustments, not assembly adjustment.

The difference in fit between right and left is very minor. As I am anal+, I think I am the only one who would notice. I know my wife, who is very observant, was just overjoyed the fogged out headlamp was replaced. She looked at it and was pleased to see a clear lamp. I will observe other TLs, and will bring to attention of dealer at my next service. Thanks!
