Header question
Say if you get headers installed, dont matter which brand. what do you need to do after that. Some say to reset the ECU like unhook the battery or just drive around for 5 days. so which one is it?

You don't have to do anything. The ECU will adjust to the new "hardware" on its own. Just drive and be sure to hit VTEC as often as possible. You'll soon discover why Good luck.

disconnect the battery for about 30mins. connect it and then drive her hard for a day or 2 and you should be set. dont forget to keep your radio code handy.
you could just drive around but why wait for 5-7 days for the ecu to fully adjust? just clear it and start over again.... it works best that way

If you don't do the idle learn procedure you could potentially have an erratic idle.
Here's how to perform the idle learn procedure nabbed from Acura-CL.com:
---
According to page 11-170 of the Acura 01-03 3.2CL Service Manual:
"The idle learn procedure must be done so the ECU/PCM can learn the engine idle characteristics. Do the idle learn procedure whenever you do any of these actions."
(Following is a lengthy list which includes resetting the ECU/PCM and disconnecting the battery, among other things).
"1. Make sure all electrical items (A/C, audio, rear window defogger, lights, etc.) are off.
2. Start the engine and hold it at 3,000 RPM with no load (in Park or neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, or until the engine coolant temperature reaches 194 degrees F (90 degrees C).
3. Let the engine idle for about 5 minutes with the throttle fully closed.
NOTE: If the radiator fan comes on, do not include its running time in the 5 minutes."
---
When you install some of the bolt-on mods they recommend disconnecting the battery anyways so if you play it safe, you may not really have a choice either way.
