I am currently running OEM rotors with Hawk HPS pads, and am very happy with the performance from this combo. However, it is now time to replace the front pads, and I thought it would be interesting to experiment with the rotors, too, rather than resurfacing the OEM's.

I bought extra HPS pads a couple of years ago on sale so I will be using these pads. What do you guys think of using Hawk Quiet Slot rotors up front with Brembo blanks for the rears? Or should I just stay OEM?

This car is my daily driver only; no track time.

BTW, my vehicle is an 02 TL Type-S.

 

Surely wont hurt to run them.
